Liverpool FC have confirmed that they have offered fresh contracts to eight players.
The club made the announcement on Friday while revealing their retained list for the 2024/25 season.
For Liverpool, the 2024/25 season officially ended after they lifted the Premier League title last month.
With the title-winning season now fully behind, Liverpool are already looking ahead of the upcoming season.
The Reds have already secured the high-profile acquisition of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and continue pursuing marquee targets like Florian Wirtz, signalling ambitious plans for sustained success under Arne Slot.
There is also interest in Milos Kerkez, while the Reds are also said to be in search of a centre half.
Apart from fresh incomings, Liverpool are also working to extend the contracts of some of the first team stars.
Defender Conor Bradley recently put pen to paper on a new deal, while there is ongoing talks with Luis Diaz and Ibrahima Konate over extending their current contracts.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have agreed the deal to sign Puskas Akademia goalkeeper Armin Pesci.
The 1.90-meter tall shot-stopper has been with the Hungarian club since joining their academy system in 2022?
His current contract with Puskas Akademia runs until June 30, 2028.
But he is set to join the Reds next season, possibly likely to start in the club’s academy.
Pesci is likely to be joined by in the academy by these eight players that Liverpool have offered contracts to.
Liverpool confirmed on Friday that the club had made fresh contract offers “to Kareem Ahmed, Emmanuel Airoboma, Keyrol Figueroa, Kyle Kelly, Michael Laffey, Wellity Lucky, Terence Miles and Ranel Young.”
